This was our second visit using a BOGO coupon. Â We looked at the big lighted menu on the way to the cashier. Â It was vague and we wanted to know what exactly was in the dishes. Â We walked up to the cashier and there was a more descriptive menu.
We both ordered the Spicy Korean Chicken.  Last time we both ordered the Thai Coconut Chicken.  We paid at the cashier and proceeded  with our cups to get water.  At the beverage station, there were To Go containers, utensils, individually wrapped fortune cookies, jars of mustard and chili paste.  On the tables, there were extra plates and napkins.  The music was blasting.
The plates of food were brought to our table. Â The Spicy Korean Chicken was not very spicy. Â We almost used a whole jar of chili paste. Â The entree had mushrooms, green beans, carrots, onions, and tender white meat chicken. Â I liked the Thai Coconut Chicken better, but wanted to try something else.
We may be back if I have another coupon.
Was not feeling the cooking bug Sunday evening and this seems to be one of the only places opened after 6pm on a Sunday. Â
First impression was OMG - they are completely slammed! Â I was quickly told that they were just hit with a ton of orders and the wait would be greater than normal. Â Since I already made the trip I decided to opt to wait it out. Â I ordered an egg roll and some kind of chicken dish. Â They were so slammed they even locked the door so no one could come in - it's bad. Â The service was quite impressive considering the magnitude of orders they had. Â Those of us waiting take out were offered complimentary wine/beer/fountain beverages - I opted for a fountain beverage and enjoyed talking to patrons while I waited for the food. Â They must have encountered some really nasty customers, they were so apologetic and kept telling me how nice I was because I wasn't angry. Â I knew what I was walking into and I've worked in customer service - no biggie for me really. Â
I was even given some extra spring rolls for the wait on the house. Â Normally I would have appreciated this but since it was just me they kind of went to waist (sadness). Â The egg roll, spring roll, and spicy/sweet chicken dish were good, not great but decent. Â This is a solid place for take out Chinese, I'd call ahead or use their App. Â Much better than Panda Express.

I've started coming to Pei Wei sometimes as an alternative from my usual work lunch spots. Â It's owned by PF Changs and it's not quite the same, but they have a few dishes that are always very good. Â I'm a fan of the Pei Wei Spicy (think General Tso's) Chicken and the Mongolian Beef. Â The Diner Select options are great for lunch, because they come with soup or a spring roll and it's a smaller portion.
I recommend not eating in between noon and 1; it's packed, which makes service confused and slow. Â My friend with Celiac's ended up with regular sweet and sour shrimp instead of gluten-free spicy shrimp, which is never a good thing. Â However, they're awesome at takeout. Â I tend to use the online system, and my orders have always been 100% accurate and ready or almost ready when I arrive. Â Servers are always friendly and take the time to make sure I have everything I need before I head out the door.
The verdict? Â Okay for eating in, great for takeout.
I'm always a little bit skeptical going to asian places on the mainland, but this place definitely surprised me. Â It's own by PF Changs and it's sort of their take out version of the restaurant. Â This location was fairly large, clean and the cashiers/staff were super friendly. Â I got the dinner meal deal, with mongolian chicken and spring roll. Â Pretty tasty for a take out asian place, and the chicken was well seasoned, not too dry. Â The sauce was delicious as well. Â The spring roll was decent, with a good sauce.

I dont usually stray from the things I like so I haven't tried a fare share of different options. But I keep coming back.
I would actually give them 3.5 stars.
There food is a tad salty and I know it's own by PF Changs but it just doesn't taste the same.
Although if you deviate from the menu you get the same look as if you were putting your cat into a bath. Â
If you are doing take out it is much better to call ahead. Â If you wait until you are there it seems to take forever to get your food.
I'm usually not a fan of asian food and am slowly getting into it. I order the teriyaki chicken rice bowl every time because I know it's what I like and I know it will be tasty every time. I really like this place. Only been there 2 times in the month we have lived here in Lowry. I plan on visiting more and trying out something else on the menu. Great service. The manager or owner has been there both times we are there and he is very friendly.
Review Source:Food is usually good, sometimes a bit on the salty side. Service is almost always good, but I do get tired of my appetizer coming at the same time as my meal. Had a bad experience once (out of many visits), they resolved it to my satisfaction and then some. Definitely worth visiting for inexpensive, quick, good asian food.
Review Source:My neighboorhood Pei Wei. Use it for takeout Like the vegetarian items on the menu, and the spicy items. Always quick and easy. Typically call in and pick up our order so no waiting n the small lobby. Service is always pleasant. I've never had any issues with incorrect orders or food quality - it has always been dependable and consistently good! That's why we keep going back when we have a craving!
Review Source:ok... I used to LOVE PeiWei and frequented this location many times in the past. Â Last time, I tried a new noodle dish and was sorely disappointed in the soggy noodles... since then I had been going to the location off Buchtel, until tonight. Â I stopped at the Lowry location since it was on my way home from work, looking forward to the delicious Pad Thai after a looooong work day. Â I found the portion smaller than I recall (my poor memory, or are they skimping?) and mushy, gross, nasty noodles. Â I'm home already, but had I chosen to eat in store, I would have returned my food. Â I'll stick to Buchtel where the cooks are competent enough to make noodles correctly...
Review Source:This asian fusion bistro gets the job done. Â Take out is my usual method of enjoying Pei Wei. Â The pork eggrolls are fab with a bit of mustard and hot chili sweet sauce. Â The garnish on the chicken teriyaki bowl makes it for me; spinach and scallions. Â
I like the clean lines to the interior, the well stocked self serve drink station and the staff has been accomodating and pleasant on repeat visits. Â The red floors pop out at you. Â
One final note: Â The non-skimpy paper napkin seals the deal for me. Â I wish more places would give this type of paper napkin if they can't do cloth. Â It's thick, large and feels like cloth. Â Love this feature.
I get hot and cold with Pei Wei. I'll have it at least once a week for awhile, and then I'll get tired of it and won't be back for a few months. I think I'm nearing the end of one of my "hot" streaks.
I love love love the Spicy Chicken Salad. I get it almost every time i come here. The Lime Vinaigrette dressing really cools down the spiciness of the chicken. I have to admit though that it did take me a long time to find this great dish after trying many other bland options.
Last night I opted for the wonton soup since I wasn't that hungry. I thought it was pretty good and the edamame I ordered was pretty good too, although run-of-the-mill.
All in all, a solid place to check out if you're in the area.

Walked in for the very first time and was greeted by a young punk, who instead of saying, "hi, what would you like to order?" he "greets" me by saying, "what's up?" Â Okay, so whatevers. Â I order my food and out comes brown rice instead of white rice. Â I didn't even know there was a choice! Â Stupid idiot didn't even ask me. Â
Not coming here again. Â Oh, and the food was mediocre.
I forgot how terrible the food was here until I had it again last night. I love Asian food, but this stuff just isn't. Everything is either bland and mushy or super spicy - either way, they don't know how to create real flavor. This is (sadly) my experience from three visits.
Having experienced less than good food here before, I asked the cashier if the phad thai was what I would traditionally expect. Of course she had never had it anywhere else. The manager piped in that it was "westernized" and admonished me that if I liked Tommy's Thai (which I love) I wouldn't like this. He went on to say he had had real phad thai in China........China?!
My noodle dish was both spicy hot and dry - again, too spicy to resemble flavorful. My friend ordered the chicken salad - it literally looked like the scraping off the top of a big mac. It was all disgusting. We vowed to remind one another never to go back.
No, Pei Wei won't be winning any awards for their cuisine anytime soon. But there service is very good and you feel very taken care of! The place is rarely crowded and your food always comes out fast. The Lettuce Wraps and Honey Seared Chicken are two of my favorite dishes. I love that they offer brown rice. They always check on you two or three times to see if you need anything eventhough they don't get a tip or are assigned to you. I think it is a good spot to pop in for lunch, despite being a chain.
Review Source:This is PF Changs bastard step child, many of the dishes are the same beyond nomenclature and execution. I think this is the minor league for PF Changs line chefs, son your spicy chicken preparation is lacking we are sending you down to Pei Wei for some seasoning!
Needless to say its fast ,easy and a  little more affordable then PF Changs and its a good pinch hitter even if it is the minor leagues!
Cool little kids meals for 3.99 or so Honey Chicken or Low Mien. Plus they have training wheels for chop sticks and that makes the kiddies smile!
Just okay. The one thing they have going for them is portion size, as I've made three meals out of the dish I ordered there Friday night. I was in the mood for something spicy so got the spicy Korean dish with beef - honestly, it wasn't that spicy. My friend loves Pei Wei and has been there a half dozen times, so I'd have to come back to give it a fair shake. They don't add MSG to their food, so kudos for that. And like big brother PF Changs they are known for their lettuce wraps, which I'll sample next time. You can order beer & wine, which is a plus in my book, and I have to laugh that their dessert menu consists of a cookie. LIke, a chocolate chip cookie. It seems like they could get a little bit more creative than that. However, the deco is cool and the food comes fast. And if you have a small stomach like me, you can make a few meals of it.
Review Source:Pei Wei is good for boosting your blood pressure up to toxic levels. Â They like to make their food loaded with salt and sugar. Â All the dishes that I have had at this place taste pretty similar - salty. Â And you'd think a salty guy like myself would show a fondness for food that reflected his personality. Â Not true - I really don't appreciate this bastardization of Chinese food.
