Pelican Grand Beach Resort

I travel about every other month.  
I have stayed in the best hotels in the country.
This resort is the best.  
The staff is outstanding,
The rooms are perfect.
The view is incredible

Went for my 50th birthday, the only downside was having to leave, and even that was great.
They let me use the resort for the few hours between checking out and the flight back.

I have stayed here before and it just keeps getting better.
Treat yourself and have the breakfast on the deck of the restaurant.  

We will be back.

I've been here twice. The first time was for a dinner party. Had no idea what the setting was going to be like. All I could say is what a pleasant and unexpected surprise to have the ocean to look at the entire night, feel the breeze all over, and later that night learn that some of the ocean salty goodness had made it's way into my pores. You are so close. I honestly can't remember what I had that night but I know I didn't have leftovers. Soooooo, it must have been good. The atmosphere alone for this party was worth 5 stars.

My second time visiting was for a Sunday brunch. Sunday morning, sun shining just enough and a great breeze. It took a while for us to be seated but with rocking chairs and the beach....WHO CARES. We weren't that hungry and it was great being able to sit and enjoy the view. Once seated I must admit that the servers kept our glasses full of our chosen drinks (a pet peeve of mine, just leave a pitcher of whatever on the table). The staff was very friendly and even though there was a wedding party and a full dining room it didn't seem busy or as if we had to wait very long in lines.What I loved;

Salmon
Breakfast Sausage*  I have dreams about this
Omelet
Fresh fruit
Waffle
Cheese Blitzes
Roasted vegetables

I honestly think that there was more but this is what I have stored in my memories.

It can be pricey because the brunch includes all you can drink Mimosas and Bloody Mary's. I say well worth it for special occasions and dates. It really takes your experience to another level being full and walking directly down to the beach to walk it off.
