The three stars are for the friendly service and atmosphere. Â The prices are pretty cheap as well. Â I had wine. Â I would actually give this place 2 stars based on the fact that upon leaving, I reeked of smoke. Â Once I washed my hair and everything else, I had to chunk my purse. Â It was just full of the smoke smell.
Review Source:As far as neighborhood dive bars go, this is as good as it gets in Sugar Land. Â cool staff, cheap drinks (There's literally NOTHING over like 6.50, and they have 24 ounce mugs for sale that get you $2 fills forever), damn near 20 tv's, dart boards, pool tables, and as close to a family of regulars as you're ever gonna find. Â AND you can smoke inside!!! Â It's right next to my house, so I've been having a nightcap or 4 there for a good 5 years now, religiously. Â they got poker during the week, tuesdays and wednesdays for sure, karaoke on thursday, saturday, and sunday. Â sundays they have 2.50 half-pitchers, which is money. Â Just don't go there expecting to pick up a lady, as there is rarely more than 4 of them at any given time, which is the only thing keeping it from getting 5 stars.
Review Source:This is a great hole-in-the-wall to kill some time with friends. Â It used to be the only act in Sugar Land...period. Â There's always a lively crowd. Â Bartenders/waitresses are friendly. Â They serve stiff drinks and tall shots. Â When it gets busy, service can be slow at times. Â It can get smokey in there, too. Â You'll see all types of people -- young and old.
