Hands down the best Pho around town. No nonsense Pho, no spring rolls or summer rolls to deal with. Simple one page menu just the Pho and drinks. I grew up with Pho 75. Their broth is very distinctive compared to all others in the area. Other Pho joints don't come close to it. Only homemade Pho is king! but Pho 75 chain tops them all.

Be careful at what time you go there on the weekends. Lunch time can be hectic. The line can stretch out the door. Usually from 10:30am to 1pm. You will have to wait a good 15-30 mins but the line moves. Sundays have been a tradition for me to go there for some good wholesome Pho at Pho 75!

After almost three years of not dining here, I decided to give Pho 75 another shot since Carly C wanted to go.

Same format as it has always been.  Plain, cafeteria style seating with a short menu consisting of different combinations of pho.  I order the regular bowl number 1 with came with sliced steak, well done flank, fatty brisket, meatballs, tripe, and soft tendon along with a hot coffee with condensed milk.  Carly ordered the number 14 with steak and brisket.

Broth was much better than I remembered.  There was also a generous amount of meat, particularly the steak and brisket.  I remember a long time ago they would skimp on the cuts.  Not anymore it seems.  The coffee was also excellent as well, about the same quality as I've had from Huong Viet and other places at Eden Center.
Carly also mentioned how much she loved her bowl and tasted a few of the other cuts from mine.  Personally I think a regular size bowl is enough but the large is only about a $1 more.

Total bill was about $20 for two.  Although not as good as Huong Viet in my opinion.  Pho 75 has been redeemed in my eyes.  Just remember to bring cash.

** 3.75 stars.  To be fair, I should point out that my partner (who eats red meat) ordered the #12 (with steak and brisket) gave it 5 stars. I do not eat meat and so I had the plain noodles.  After a heavy dose of hoisin and sirracha, the broth developed nice flavor.  But without it, it was pretty bland.  Unfortunately, they do not offer a seafood option.  Fortunately, Pho Sate does.  And that's why they are my new favorite.  But if you eat meat, you will be quite pleased with Pho 75.
