The pizza is a bit chewy and the crust is inconsistent with its consistency. Â Apparently, the best days to order pizza from here are Mon thru Thurs, when the owner is on site making pies. Â But when the weekend rolls around, expect a complete, and disheartening 180.
A cheese slice on Tuesday will taste like heaven compared to one ordered on Sunday. Â The difference is in the pizza chef(s). Â I'm not sure how many actually twirl the dough around, but I do know that Sunday nights are the worst night to order a slice or a pie. Â If you can, try ordering from Venice or convincing yourself (if you're ordering for one) or convincing others to get in the mood for something else.
And to think, they share a name with perhaps the greatest pizzeria in North Jersey (of which they are NOT affiliated with in any way).
