stopped by here on  New Year's Eve...fun place.  I can see this being a great place to watch a game or meet up on a random week night with friends.  The drinks were reasonably priced- paid $9 for a pint  of wee mac and a bottle of blue moon.  I didn't order food, but I stole some from someone who had, and the french fries were delicious.  Also a really cool place if you're into Indiana sports history.
Review Source:LOL at those who say its only a day bar. I NEVER went there during the day, prefering to get wasted with co-workers on the weekends. Â Its nothing to write home about food and drink wise, (cheaper than thr strip though) but with the large outside deck, the basketball goal in the back, and the 2 bathrooms upstairs for extra curriculars, it was the complete spot.
Miss those days..oh yeah u can bring your dog too if you want
I can't believe it took me a year to finally go here. Â The reason behind the 4-star rating is simple, the little things. Â I love the bike parking lot in front of the restaurant! Â It can be hard at time to find an appropriate place to park a bik around Brip. Â This place is also dog friendly, they have a "doggie buffet" with various treats and water bowls on the front porch for your pooch.
I have yet to venture to Plump's during a night out in Broad Ripple, but the food I had on my first visit is enough for me to call this place awesome! Â I was shocked to see crab cakes as an appetizer, so I had to order. Â I love crab cakes and Plump's are some of the best I have enjoyed. Â I had a blacken grouper sandwich as a main course. Â It was amazing! Â The spices really made the sandwich enjoyable. Â Plus the filet itself was quite large. Â My friend had the pork tenderloin..... the tenderloin itself was twice the size of the bun. Â Enough said, the food is great!
The only thing preventing a 5-star rating is they open at 4pm.... I have been attempting to be stingy with my 5-star ratings. Â Having my favorite food, being so close to me and not open for lunch during the week is a let down :(
