Yat's is an incredible restaurant, filled with a cool, kinda weird New Orleans vibe, jazz music, pictures, and cajun memorabilia. The food is great, too. I love the Chill-Cheese Etouffee the best, as well as the Maque Choux. It's all good though!
The owner is a great guy, who loves his restaurant and loves his patrons.
It really makes me sad that Yats is top rated in Indy.
I've eaten at Yats twice and I just think it's gross. The menu is limited, the food is edible but nothing to write home about. It's not cooked on site. When you get your food it's just a sloppy mess on the plate.
I can really only see this place appealing to drunk people looking to fill up on something before passing out for the night.
