This place was pretty decent. My husband came here on a Sunday morning. It was a little busy and it is pretty cramped in there so we had to wait a minute for a table. It was also a decent wait for our food but we were not in a huge hurry so we didn't mind. We started off sharing a Nutella pancake. It was pretty much like a crepe. It was great. I don't think anything with Nutella can be bad though.
I ordered the Veggie grill. I totally hated it! There was something about how all the veggies were cooked that didn't taste right to me. I am not going to hold it the restaurant though. I was pregnant and my taste buds were kinda crazy at the time. My husband ordered the Cajun Talapia wrap. He loved it. He kept talking about it all day saying how we needed to go back sometime.
All in all, I would say this place is worth a try.

In one word SoBro Cafe is OUTSTANDING! My husband and I happened upon this place by accident and decided to give it a try. Our meal was simply fantastic! We are both Vegan and we ordered the vegan sushi appetizer and enjoyed a wonderful glass of Organic Chardonnay. For our entree I had The Good Burger just WOW and my husband had the Tofu with maple glaze. Everything about our meal was fantastic and the atmosphere and service made it one of our new favorite restaurants! Thank goodness Indy is finally getting some places that make delicious food that don't revolve around meat!

SoBro Cafe is kinda the fat, ugly sister next to Taste Cafe; no one wants to dance with her, because everyone is running after the pretty, more urban one.

Picture the scene from a Beautiful Mind, where John Nash is explaining Game Theory, everyone flocks to taste, without realizing that SoBro is a hidden gem, right behind her. (Literally, it's right behind Taste.)
I'm always a bit careful about writting about hidden gems, because I don't want it to become a trend, and then lose out on it's awesomeness. But here I am, doing the unthinkable!

If I don't get down there, before the lunch rush, I normally just hop over to SoBro which is never crowded and get a nice cozy seat inside, but I normally try to eat outside (clearly, not in winter times though)

The interior somewhat reminds me of someone's grandma's kitchen. It is super cozy.

While there, I normally get the "Dutch pancakes", which look more like crepes rather than Dutch babies, which I was picturing in my head when I first ordered.
I get a savoury one and a sweet one (I have a sweet tooth that is outta control!)
My favourite sweet pancake is the banana, nutella crepe. Everything is always better with nutella.

I also once tried the thai coconut soup - which was pretty good as a base. I would add a lot of things to this soup - more veges, more spices. But hey, I was once tired of bleh Thai food that I took a spontaneous trip to Thailand just to eat Thai food. So my standards might be too high.
