Good place to go get a pocket, or calzone. They've got a pretty large/diverse menu, a little overpriced in my opinion. Regardless, a great place to stop grab a bite to go, or there's plenty of seating area if you wanna take a seat.
(calzones might take ~10 minutes to heat)
It's kinda cool how they're attached to the Kingoberry, and they offer a 10% discount for student ID's
I had a Living Social voucher for $10.00 so I decided to try this place. Â Ordered a calzone for pickup through the website at 12:44PM and was quoted takeout pickup time of 12:54PM. Â Being about 5 minutes down the street I figured I could pick up my calzone and get back to work in time for my 1:00PM meeting. Â Arriving slightly early at 12:50PM I checked in and told them my name and was told it would be another 2 minutes. Â Great, I thought, 2 minutes ahead of schedule. Â The calzone wasn't actually finished until 1:02 so it was 12 minutes and not 2 minutes. Â So it loses 1 star on timeliness.
For food, I had the "meaty" calzone. Â It was undercooked and nasty tasting. Â The portion size was huge but it was low quality. Â I would have preferred a higher quality smaller portion than this pile of junk. Â The place is clean and I like that they take online delivery. Â I may try something else on the menu as it is convenient. Â For now, 2 stars is all I can afford. Â I'm just glad I only paid $1 for the $10 voucher and then the tax etc which was another $1.18. Â Out of pocket $2.18 and I still felt cheated. Â I couldn't have imagined paying full price ($11.18.)
