Poor Herbie's

I have been eating here for about 15 years, and never had a bad meal.  Great steaks, burgers, salads. The owners are very nice and always check in to see how your meal is.  The house salad dressing is the best!  It has crumbled blue cheese and is to die for!

I really could not tell you much more about the menu but this is definitely a neighborhood pub with lots of regulars i have noticed. The burgers are very taste but sometimes i do forget to order fries because they do not come with the burger.

Basically I go here when I want good wings and they always satisfy. Good lunch spot or place to go on weekend  for brunch and maybe a bloody mary. I am craving their wings now, they are that good.

Loved this place. My friend and I stopped by because I liked the name, and my friend liked the name of the street it was on (Waverly). An excellent choice. The atmosphere is great, kind of divey with oodles of shizzle on the wall. It looks like it's been around for decades. Old codgers at the bar easily blended with couples and families sprinkled throughout the restaurant. The potato skins were incredible, easily one of the top 5 I've ever had, served in a little skillet with generous toppings. The burger was very good as well, adorned with a toasted kaiser, which held the juices well. One slight criticism - they don't include fries automatically as a side, and you have to order them separately. It was about $2 extra, but was also good. We ordered the shoestring fries. The service was perfect, we were seated promptly, and the waitress came by regularly. I also enjoyed the ginger busboy, who reminded me so much of one of the footmen from Downton Abbey. Definitely stopping by again.
