Decided to give this place another chance, why oh why did I do that? Â Just to be let down again, thats the answer!!
Once upon a time I get the urge to eat Italian and my lazy ass decided to stay close to home and go to Roccos's, what a big mistake that was. Â As we entered we were greeted with quick and friendly service. Â We were there for take out only and the gentlemen offered us a nice beverage and that was the only positive part of this whole review. Â While waiting for our food we conversed with the guys behind the counter and mentioned 2 times that we specifically wanted Meat Sauce on the Chicken Parm w. rigatoni (comes with spaghetti), along with that we got Eggplant Parm, garilc bread w. mozz, and a little grated parm cheese. Â The rigatoni was undercooked so much we almost chipped a tooth, eggplant was chewy, garlic bread was salty as heck! Â We were so dissapointed that I called the restaurant to voice our greivance, I spoke to Gino the manager and let him know all that was wrong with our meals, his response was silence, I said "hello?" just to make sure he was still there, his response "what would you like me to do, ill correct the issue with the kitchen." Â Maybe this manager didnt understand me well, but if you called me and said you were not happy with a service I provided I would try to rectify it. Â Before Gino hung up he said to ask for him next time I come in and he will take care of me, he didnt' ask my name or anything else, how does this guy know who I am? Â I dont know about you but I am not going back to R's whether its for a free meal or they were giving away cash.
P.S. The portions, dont get me started on that, for $15 a plate you think you would a full plate of food.
P.S.S. My office orders pizza from R's all the time and I will make sure that stops soon.
Finally, an Italian restaurant I can trust for great gluten-free pasta! The wait staff was very attentive, checking to make sure that everything served to me was without gluten. Basically, they can make almost anything gluten-free and serve it with the gluten-free pasta of the day. They also feature gluten-free pizza. Delicious...thank you, Gino!
