Potbelly Sandwich Shop

so the food here is ok.  nothing extraordinary but fine for a quick lunch when you work in the area.  however, i have yet to place an order at this location that they do not mess up.  my office orders here frequently (not anymore) and they have always messed up the order.  not going back to this location.

First, I love Potbelly's. This review is not for the sandwiches in general but for this location.

I went to the Potbelly's at 225 W Randolph this morning. There was only one other person in line. We both ordered breakfast sandwiches. I saw them put the sandwiches in the oven. I waited 5 minutes. No sandwiches. I was asked again what I wanted. I gave my order. Five minutes later the woman who had taken my order asked me what I was doing! I'm waiting for my sandwich....what do you think I'm doing! This time she said she didn't have my order and would have to start over. WTFWTFWTF?!?!?!? This all happened over the course of 10 minutes in an area literally the size of the desk I'm typing at right now. There were only two people in line the whole time. Nobody was there before or after me. Where did my sandwich go? Twice? Both me and the guy in front of me walked out without our sandwiches and with no explanation  (or apology).

Definitely the B-team on staff this morning. Very disappointed to get such terrible service at a sandwich shop that is otherwise one of my favorites. I'll be back to Potbelly's but not this location.

Delicious lunch! I love their vegetable soup. Staff was nice. Cleanliness was so-so and I didn't like having to use a key for bathroom.
