FIRST TIME WILL BE THE LAST TIME!!!!!!   Looked forward to going here for dinner, with sister and brother in law.  Looked at menu on line before going. Looked pricey, but if the service and food is good than its worth the extra expense. First impression was the atmosphere. Very noisy, crowded, people and tables are crammed in together. We sat at a  table that  was literally half way out in the hall area where people wait to be seated. We kept getting bumped by everyone walking by. Service was terrible!  Waitress kept disappearing, and we had to look for her. Three of us ordered the fish, and one ordered a filet medium well. The steak was RARE. Waitress takes steak back to kitchen, comes back 1 minute later with same steak, STILL RARE.  My sister was so upset, she lost her appetite, and sent it back for good.  The owner came to our table and apologized, and said she would take it off the check.  YOU THINK???!!   My sister didn't even touch the meal!!  They try to make this place look like a fine dining restaurant, (THE PRICES DEFINITELY FIT THE BILL) However the place has  more of a neighborhood bar feel, and should not give the impression, especially on their website that you will have this nice relaxing fine dining experience.  The burgers, and sandwich menu fits the atmosphere. They are overpriced, service sucks, and obviously cater only to the  regulars. I will not go back, and I know that my sister and husband were quite embarrassed. They wanted to take us out for a nice dinner.  I know they will not go back again!!

YUM!  Everything was great. Ordered the roasted pork with sauerkraut and my husband tried to wrestle it away he loved it so much.  we'll be back for sure!

I looked forward to trying Rayme's for a long time having lived in Lisle and driven by so many times.  I took the plunge on a Saturday night in late October around Halloween.  Nice quaint place, friendly staff.  I did not have a drink since I am a craft beer snob and they did not offer anything remotely interesting, but I do understand it is a "cocktail" sort of place and not a beer haven.  I wasn't in the mood for an expensive steak or dinner so I opted for the butt steak burger.  It was tasty, I'm just disappointed in the size of the meal for the price.  even still after paying $15.00 for a plate of food I was hoping to leave full but that was not the case.  I ended up moving on to the Bavarian Lodge for some delicious beers and a sausage platter.
