Went for some DJs playing invited by friends at the last minute, This place is stupid hot inside. I was sweating like a sweat hog; ton of people and no ventilation ( I was in shorts and a shirt at night). I came here cause some friends wanted to check it out and I really don't hang in the Venice area. Definitely avoiding if brought up again...

Worst drink service in Venice!

Back story:

This is used to be red garter, which was fun (pool tables, dancing, dj, etc)  but I guess not doing good enough to keep their doors open or I think owner wanted to sell. In come RG club, and they are completely different.

Place:

They re-did everything and got nice modern seats and tables, although the bathrooms didn't seem to change much. Everything is a lot nicer though.
The outdoor space has a bunch of seats and a fire place, smokers welcome. Inside, seats are available at the bar, along the walls and a few tables and chairs in front of the "stage."

Music:

Live jazz, the night we came we got to listen to these pretty good pair of guys do their thing.

Drinks:

Typical prices, $12 for a mixed cocktail but you get your moneys worth here. No funny business, the cocktails are really well made and they have a good selection.

Parking:

Street parking along Lincoln and it looks like they got a small parking lot right next door to them, I believe you have to go through an alley to get to it.
