I went here with a group of 3 for Dine LA. The entrees were amazing. The Brussel sprouts were delicious. The meat balls were well seasoned and the grilled cheese was crunchy and the added fruit took it over the top. I had the lickable wallpaper cocktail, which was fantastic. I only gave the place 4 stars b/c the desserts were awful. The cookies tasted like they were store bought, the red velvet twinkies didn't taste like red velvet at all and had a weird texture. The palmetto was decent. Get a new pastry chef ASAP.

I came with a group of 7 for DineLA.  I called earlier the same day to make a reservation but they said they were really busy and to try and just walk in which is what we did.  We got there around 6:40pm or so.

    The Service ---
They were able to seat us right when we walked in.  However, the host told us that they would need the table for a reservation and asked if we could be done by 8:30 or 8:45.  I thought that was just horrible.  I don't want to feel rushed when I'm eating. I understand that you have a small restaurant and lots of reservations but don't give me a time limit!  Minus this, the service was good.  Our server was great.  He was very friendly and even gave us a free drink.  He was great despite the fact that they added gratuity since we had a large party.  I've been to places where they do that and the server knows they're getting a tip no matter what so they don't care about how good their service is.  This guy was great though!

    The Food ---
Since we had so many people, we got to try everything on the DineLA menu!
Burrata: Nothing special. Kind of boring.
Brussels Sprouts: Best dish of the night!  Super flavorful and tender.
Salmon Crudo: The sauce/foam was very citrusy.  This dish was also nothing special.
Grilled Cheese: Came with peaches which gave it a nice sweet flavor and the bread was perfectly toasted.  I recommend!
Meatballs: I recommend this one as well.  The meatballs had a great flavor and there was so much cheese gooeyness.  Yum!
Broccolini: Recommend also.  It was perfectly cooked.
Agnolotti: I didn't like this one.  All I could taste was the cilantro.
Steamed Mussels: Wasn't a fan since I don't like curry.
French Fries (Not on DineLA menu): The fries were good - cooked well.  The aioli it came with was really good!
Milk and Cookies: This was my favorite dessert.  The cookies were nice and soft and the ice cream was good.
Red Velvet Twinkies: The twinkies weren't good but the beet chips were!  It was kind of random how they threw those 2 together.
Chocolate Paloma.  The dark chocolate and grapefruit went well together.  The tequila sorbet was nasty!!
For drinks, I had a Moscow Mule and the lager on the Happy Hour menu (we came just in time.  It ended at 7pm).  The Moscow Mule was pretty good but small and I didn't like the lager.  The drink our server gave us was called "That Girl is Dangerous" and it was some kind of tequila cocktail.  It was pretty good, tasted like a strawberry creamsicle.

    The Prices ---
It was $25 for DineLA.  We each got 2 dishes plus 1 dessert but it was all served family style which was nice.  My Happy Hour Moscow Mule was $7 and the beer was $5.

Overall, I think this was a great choice for DineLA since we had so many people and were able to try everything.  I might come back for Happy Hour but not regularly.  It's too pricey.

I went to this place for cocktails the first time (which were great) and noticed the food menu and went back last weekend for dinner.  Everything was just delicious - brussel sprouts, burrata, grilled cheese, mussels, and meatballs. And the cocktails were just as good as they were the first time I went. Best of all, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The chef even came out to see how we liked our meal. I'll definitely be going back.
