Ribbon Room

If you want to enter a time warp in a place that is off the beaten path then this is the place for you.  The Ribbon Room is a private club, so it is a smoking environment.  This place is stuck in the 70s.  From the horrible AM radio sounding music system being played when noone is using the jukebox to the wood trim and decades out of date decor and fixtures.  It sounds like I'm complaining, but I'm not.  This is the stuff that gives this place it's charm.

The food is cheap, they break their neck bringing it to you, and as soon as you walk in and sit down everyone in there talks to you and acts like you are their long lost friend.

If you need to get away from the family and want to just mellow out with an ice cold beer where you are sure to not get discovered, then this is the spot.  This place is perfect if you need to take a load off and forget about everything going on outside of the front door.

Drinks are reasonably priced.  The crowd on the few nights I've been there has been very friendly while I'm up there butchering some karaoke songs. :)  I've made a couple new acquaintances there already.

This is a smoking venue, and should remain so after July 1st, due to them being a 'private club'.
