Riverside West Pub the

Love this bar. It's a cozy little dive bar, with great food and drinks. The prices are the best around. I mean where else are you going to get a draft beer for $1.40.

Stopped by this establishment on a recent Wednesday for their seafood special. Turned out not to have steamers, red tide, not their fault. This a divey, mostly-locals bar. It's first and foremost a dingy and smoky bar (which I'm not necessarily against) with a few small tables scattered around a couple pool tables, and a few picnic tables on a back deck.

Based on our trip, if you're not a local and know the bartenders, don't bother. Help was non-existent on our visit, we finally discovered the small back deck, and after a little while a waitress took our orders. She subsequently ignored us on 3 other trips out to the deck. Not an exaggeration, she walked past us without looking each time, even as we tried to flag her down. Unfriendly smoky dive, average-looking bar food, completely inattentive staff, 1 star is almost too much.
