A good looking bar with lots of old regulars and that's about it. Â Fun videos. Â
The worst part is you will leave smelling like shiat. Â Your clothes will reek of smoke. Â Your hair will still smell like an ashtray two days later, after repeated wash. Â All of the lovely new furnishings they got for the new side are ruined with cigarette smoke. Â
What a shame or I would be there on a regular basis. Â Why on earth do you want to do that to your business and new customers? Â Disgusting stinky place with lots of potential.
An oasis in stressed and depressed Harrisburg! Â It is certainly the most beautiful bar we've seen, with upscale furnishings and tasteful decor.
What really sets this bar apart is a fusion of commercial and residential space, and an ability to offer more private settings for more intimate conversations, or a common party space with big screen TVs, etc. Â Talk is that it will be expanding even more this summer (2013), with a rooftop deck and outdoor seating in the shadow of the capitol building.
As for being a gay bar, certainly the majority of patrons were; however, at times nearly half the crowd were very straight and very cute--I think this would be a good bar to take a friend to, be they straight or gay.
This seems to be on the forefront prototype of what bars are evolving into by not catering to any particular sexual orientation but celebrating all!
