Walked in, asked for a glass of beer and mispronounced the brand name by mistake. This immediately infuriated the Puto Rican bartender who then proceeded to ignore me. Thinking he was an Anglo, I assumed he was a racist. He then declared himself a Puerto Rican and called me a fag and maricon  while claiming I had an attitude. I wondered why he would assume such a thing.

I later found out the place is a gay bar. That confirmed what the Puerto Rican anti-all- other Latinos bartender's effeminate tone of voice had indicated.

Not going back.

BTW

Somebody needs to tell this savage that senior citizens go to bars because they might feel depressed and not with the purpose of looking for fights. Also, that some senior citizens have so little to lose that sooner or later he might just tweak one who isn't  quite sane and  who might decide to put him away.

Let's do positives first:
Staff is very friendly and the prices of beer and liquor are very reasonable. You can smoke indoors which is a plus (especially in winter time). Summer time, they have a nice little patio to sit on.

Negatives:
If it is crowded, it gets extremely smoky and yours eyes will definitely water. Also, they don't have little snack foods for sale if you need them (ie chips, pretzels, etc.)

All in all, it is a nice little dive bar in a nice part of Harrisburg.

Robbie is a great bartender. Friendly & responsive.
Recent improvements are nice.
