um, gross.

i went here with two of my girl friends and all of our meals were terrible....not to mention so was the staff and service. The sushi rolls tasted way too fishy and were def not right. we told our server very nicely that something wasn't right with the rolls and she just kind of ran off with it and never took it off the bill. my other friend got pad thai and it smelled like wet dog and had no flavor. how do you mess something that safe up?! the only thing that was good were the chive wontons, which i would actually order again, but i'm never going back to that place.

bad service. bad food. bad experience.

Worst experience ever.

I love byob sushi & I've never been to this place, so I was excited to try something new. My two girlfriends & I had no problem getting a reservation, which is always a plus in my book. However, it didn't take long to understand why this place wasn't busy on a Friday night.

We started off with the chive wontons which were actually really good. I got the spicy tuna, which is my go to staple when I don't want to spend a ton on a fancy roll. Also, it was 'recommended' by yelp users, so I figured I couldn't go wrong. My friends got the shrimp tempura roll & the pad thai.

Both sushi rolls tasted extremely fishy. Like gross fishy- the fish must've been bad. I never send food back, but when it comes to fish, better safe than sorry. It took a half hour for our waitress to even come back to the table after she brought the food. When she saw we didn't eat the rolls, she proceeded to ask us if we wanted a box, and didn't seem to get that we didn't like the rolls. At this point it had been so long we just wanted to leave without ordering anything else. When she brought us the bill, she still charged us for the two rolls we didn't even eat. We spent the next 15 minutes unsuccessfully trying to flag down another employee, who were all obviously trying to ignore us.

After they finally gave us our bill without the two rolls, the manager came up to us to ask us what was wrong. She was beyond rude. When we told her the sushi didn't taste right-- too fishy, she asked us if we've ever had sushi before. Seriously? So so rude.

Unless you'd like to leave hungry with a headache, do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.

The food was really good, but the service was kinda lame.
