Order here several times through work. Â The only thing good here is the deep dish pizza but other than that I was disappointed. Â I like to order subs and for some strange reason my subs are always made wrong and when I get a salad, it is always swimming in dressing. Â I have had better service from other local delis. Â Sorry Roma Nova I won't order from you anymore, to many bad experiences. (maybe for pizza but other than that...NO!)
Review Source:We have only had the mexican here and I was pleasantly surprised. Authentic mexican style tacos with cilantro, onion and juicy meat served on doubled up tiny tacos. They are delicious, the perfect size (3 to an order) and cheap (5 bucks). Guacamole was delicious too. If you are familiar with the Red Hook Ballpark vendors, this is what it reminds me of. Oh and they also deliver! Glad we finally tried this place. Not health food... but very good. Yum!
Review Source:When you walk in, the restaurant feels tiny and you just see the pizzas. But then you look to your right and you see a nice-sized dining room.
I had always seen the red-lettered sign for this Mexican-Italian restaurant, but I never cared to walk in until my hairdresser recommended it to me. She said they had the best tacos.
My husband ordered pork tacos and I ordered chorizo tacos. My tacos were good. To me, the chorizo tacos tasted too salty, but maybe that was just the type of chorizo they used. I took a bite of my husband's pork tacos and the pork was a little bland. But what I liked about the tacos was that they were filled with cilantro and chopped onions---the traditional filling.
If I go to Roma Nova again and I have a better meal, I'll change my rating. But for right now, it's just 3 stars.
In Beacon, there is a little white sign with bold red writing on a corner on Main Street that points towards a family restaurant with simply delightful pizzas and a Cobb Salad that is out of this world! Â Highly recommended not only for their homemade goods and price but also for their wonderful friendly atmosphere.
