Rosie's is such a nice place to relax and have drinks with friends. The patio is really cool and absolutely perfect on warm summer nights. The drinks are good and reasonably priced. Side note, I'm just now realizing I've only had their appetizers (ha!) they're pretty tasty but nothing out of the ordinary.
Review Source:Had the $2.00 tacos and they were nasty ,the meat tasted like all chili powder the so called soft taco came open faced so when you fold it it cracked in half, the shell also greasy ,I was hungry and ate them and had tummy ache for hours after,, on a better note we enjoy the pizza and fish
Review Source:Actually got recruited to going to Rosie's while visiting the zoo. Weird, I know. These guys came up to us asking if we frequent Ferndale, I told them I don't know, I don't think I've ever been to Ferndale, haha. Then I explained we just moved here. They had a variety of giftcards to randomly choose from with surprise amounts. This couldn't have happened at a better time! We were just talking about heading out to find something to eat. We drove the 3 miles to downtown Ferndale and made our way into Rosie's. Street parking was a breeze and the meter was only 50 cents. This place is a sports bar so there are TV's galore. Pretty roomy with plenty of booths, table tops and outdoor seating. Our server was super nice and knew the menu which was a big plus! When trying to alter one of their specialty pizza's she suggested making it a create your own to save some dough. I had a deep dish pizza and I have to say it was the best pizza I have had in a long time! Being a Chicagoan, this is where it's at! My friend had the thin crust and said it was equally delicious. The kiddo had the hot dog from the kids menu and I have to say this was the biggest hot dog I have ever seen! She loved it! The hubs had a chicken sandwich that was also good, even when he heated up his leftovers the next day he said it was still super tasty. Though I think I may have gotten him hooked on the pizza. ; ) Mmmm all this pizza talk has me wanting pizza now.....
Oh and those surprise giftcards we had...came out to $22! Thanks Rosie O'Grady's recruiters!
