Sanchez Taqueria

Food is tasty authentic Mexican fare for very reasonable. Service is reasonable. Bathroom you have to go through kitchen to get to. Tables are uncomfortable. But it is tasty and the closest restaurant to my home. Nicer tables and a better bathroom would help a ton.

Good selection of mexican baked goods too.

An update, two years later.

So at this point, the taqueria simply doesn't meet my needs. My burrito must --

1. Be meat free, which they can do for you; and

2. Be handle-able, which they cannot do. I don't want it smothered. I want to be able to pick it up.

It's good for scooting across the street to get a soda, but I don't eat here anymore.

Next time you cross MLK to visit the Park Hill post office, take a few minutes and stop by here. It sure looks like hell, and I wouldn't want to eat inside, but the food is good and cheap. If you don't speak Spanish, they find someone who speaks a little English to help you order. Try a smothered chorizo and egg burrito or some steak tacos. Good stuff!
