Schnitzel Haus

Ambiance:
Great Alternative to Hoffbrau Munchen without the inflated Lincoln Rd price.
Sit inside with tacky-yet-cozy decor or outside at the Biergarten which is nice too and has a projector screen on which they'll play your sporting event of choice, word of warning beware during rainy/summer months the mosquitos will carry you away so sit inside or wear pants,the owner will provide OFF! so that's nice if you choose to rough it. The Staff is attentive and diligent. Pretty good date spot or to catch a game with a buddy.

The Food
With a name like that it better be great Schnitzel and they deliver.. it's pretty damn good schnitzel. Sausage Sampler was great, the cheese spaetzle was superb.
The owner's from Munich and he's legit.

The Bier:
Nice German beers on tap and a good selection of German favorites
Anything from a light colored Pils to a Märzen  or a Doppelbock, your beer cravings will be satisfied, served in .5L, 1L, 1.5L or 2L sizes.

Bottom Line:
The Food is Great The Beer is good and the Price is right.
Definitely coming back.

Great sausage and beer.   this is a hidden gem.   don't be deterred by the location.

Many of you know I'm Sicilian, and other than Mussolini and Hitler we and Germans typically don't mix, and that didn't end well. This lack of natural chemistry is particularly true when it comes to cuisine. They pickle vegetables, we pick vegetables. They boil meat, we roast meat. You get it. So, the hours before my venture to Schnitzel Haus were filled with dread. However, everything in the end was wunderbar. Now, don't get me wrong, this is still not my preferred cuisine, but it was what it was, and good at doing it. Plus, the journey from Miami to Germany (a short jaunt to 79th St.) was authentic and palpable. With that said, I'll be back. No passport required.
