The 5 stars is because we had a groupon and we got more than we paid for. The service and food is so good I would pay full price. It's the perfect spot for a date, tables are spaced out on deck to overlook the beauty of water between Miami and the Beach. It's better at night, when the moon can caste its beams on the water. Just spectacular, really...what can I say? Don't let him leave his wallet at home ladies! This one needs to be on him b/c he will pay a nice penny and it'll be worth it!
Review Source:We came here for Valentine's Day because of the amazing view and atmosphere we heard about. Unfortunately, it rained the entire day and night! So we were stuck inside and we felt like the best part of the evening had been ruined. The inside is very pretty though and the jazz music they were playing set a cool ambiance so we were happy.
The food and service did make the night a bit of a bust though. They had a Valentine's Day menu, which started with champagne (but it was really Prosecco - not complaining though!). The ceviche they served was not bad, but I found a couple of bones in it so that's not very fun. I had the steak pappardelle, which didn't wow me, and my boyfriend had the Mediterranean chickejn, which was very good. To finish, they had a banana concoction of some sort that was really delicious. Overall, a nice dining experience as far as food, but it felt waaaay overpriced, but it was V-day so you deal with it.
As far as service goes, it was terrible! It was dead for being a holiday and our waitress went MIA for nearly an hour - that's how long it took for our food to come out. She would literally avoid our table. Whaat? She was nice and all, but not really on the ball, even with so little people in the restaurant.
I would only come back for drinks outside on a nice night, but not dinner!
