Sea Bowl

I came here on 7/16/13. wanting to revisit an old bowling alley i once cherished visiting...for the purpose of warming up for an LA tournament ..and at 4:15pm, you would expect everything to be business as usual right?...

Boy could we all be anymore wrong..my friend and i walk in with all of our bowling gear in tow...the alley is open.and theres 2 lanes of the 32 lanes being occupied with a small family bowling....and all of sudden we were informed..that NO LANES AVAILABLE Till 9:pm.....The parking lot is empty..and by empty, i mean SERRA BOWL and Japantown Bowl is having more business than them...

There is no sign of a business or corporate party coming soon....so what's taking up their business? probably ghosts of memories pasts perhaps...

Dear god...no alley is worth waiting on for 6 hours...they need some kind of formal notice other than the TV screens at the front desk..

Their website was of no help either..

But i guess 2 of 32 lanes occupied is considered Full and no Vacancy in this economy now?
I guess it is fitting, since its basically a cliff side alley....if the balls haven't yet gone into the gutter, we know where all of the bowlers went....

The nachos supreme are delish! Minus a star for The girl w the red hair working at the snack counter that has a horrible attitude and acts like you are bothering her when you order food. No smile and answers you in an annoyed voice if you ask her a question.  Really, if you don't like customer service don't work in customer service! Love the free parking here!

We had a birthday party here... And we would go back and do it again.

The food was amazing! We had pizzas, chicken wings, fruit salad, and sliders.
Considering the rates for birthday parties around here, it was well worth it.

The party room is spacious and clean, service was fast and attentive.... The bowling was fun for all and the afternoon went so smoothly.

I was able to plan it all via email, and on the few days before, called in the menu order.

Easy parking for your guests, a two hour party overlooking the beach. An hour of bowling and an hour of yummy eating. I'm hungry again already!!!

Kiddo still loves his sea bowl t shirt and bowling pin ( that all our guests signed!)
