First time stopping for Thai at this establishment that has been up and running for twelve years.  Maybe I had been judging this book by its cover, and my visit reminded why it is not wise to do so.  Friendly service and the dining areas are cozy, modern, and welcoming.
The menu is an extensive  Thai and Japanese duo.  I ordered some favorites: mixed seafood appetizer  (crab, octopus, conch, shrimp mixed with cucumbers), a seaweed salad (standard fare and generous portion size), and Panang Curry with chicken.  The seafood appetizer was fresh and delicious, a nice serving that could have almost been a meal itself or perfect for sharing with another.  The Panang Curry was prepared to a medium spice, which had a nice zing but I could have gone hotter.  It contained green beans which confused me at first but as I got acclimated to bites of coconut milk, curry herbys, and chicken slices, it was quite clearly delicious.
I will be ordering from this place again soon. It's now open until midnight on Friday and Saturday, so that makes it more convenient to eat late and great.  Try this Thai!

First time eating at Siam Kitchen. Favorably impressed. Read the other sensibly written reviews for the details as they are accurate. Like they did, I thought it looked a bit cheesy outside, but once inside it's a classy restaurant.

I started off with Thai iced tea which is a creamy tea with understated sweetness and fresh Spring rolls that came with peanut sauce and some sort of clear sauce that had red bits in it (plum sauce?) that added an interesting flavor, but no real heat.

For my entree I had "T30" scallops with masaman curry. The photo in the menu of a similar dish showed a platter so I wasn't expecting what came as a wonderful bowl of soup with all the components nicely arranged in it. Potatoes, cashews, and little strips of avocado with scallops around the perimeter in a curry soup that had a perfect balance of sweet and spicy. It also came with the ubiquitous plate of sticky white rice. I ordered medium spicy which I guess is tame for the round eye; if you like yours with more kick they have "hot" and "Thai hot".

I found the portions just right even though I was pretty hungry and the flavors balanced well. I probably could have taken a bit more heat, but there's a fine line with me when there's too much spice that it detracts from the overall flavor of the meal.

I'll definitely be back. As a landmark, if you're heading south on Federal Hwy (U.S.1) it's in the little strip shopping center a block south of the blue Roselli building that houses a great Italian restaurant "Cafe Italia", another can't-miss place for risotto and great seafood dishes.

Had Thai food delivered tonight and it was just terrible. Wide noodles with tofu were greasy. Red curry seemed to be made with water rather than coconut milk and had stir-fried cucumbers in it. Minced chicken had a lime sauce so strong it was almost inedible. I'll certainly never eat here again.
