Lunch stop on a road trip. Found Silvers Saloon on yelp. Lunch was great. I enjoyed the chicken salad sandwich with sweet potato fries while my husband had the grilled turkey with bacon and Swiss and fresh fried potato chips. Yum! Â Great service with a smile too!!! You can enjoy sitting in the dining room or In the bar. We will go back!
Review Source:This was a neat little restaurant right off the 5.  It was easy to get to and had amazing breakfast.  Their décor was neat and staff was very friendly.  If you are looking for a place to grab some breakfast, add this place to your list of restaurants to try out.  Oh, and if you are wondering kids are allowed in the restaurant side of the saloon!!
Review Source:WOW! This place was awesome and unexpected... My boyfriend and I were just driving around town and decided to stop there for dinner because we'd never been in and I go past it all the time. We got the caboose burger and bacon Mac and cheese and decided to split it family style.. GREAT IDEA! The burger was bigger than the circumference of my face!!! And it was amazing!! Mac and cheese was homemade and delicious! The place was really cute and decked out in country gear it was a little nostalgic for me because it reminded me of my grandmas house... And best of all we had split a salad, fries, lots of Mac n cheese and a huge burger loaded with the works even bacon and avocado, all for $30 including tip! Huge win for us for just a random spontaneous stop in.
Review Source:My husband and I are always eager to try out new restaurants and based on a friends recommendation we recently went to Silver's Saloon for a quick dinner. Â That was the plan anyway. Â We were greeted by literally every staff person present and our server was prompt, friendly and helpful. Â So far, so good. Â Then the waiting began. Â It took at least 15 minutes for our drink orders to arrive; their advertised "specials" at $7.00 each. Â Not so special after all. Â What happened to their advertised "happy hour"? Â The food arrived another 30 minutes later and while the included dinner salad was quite impressive, the entrees less so. Â Average at best, which I am guessing won't quite cut it in Oly/Lacey with everyone and their brother offering considerably better priced and tastier dinner specials. Â I understand the owners also own Frankie's and while they may be attempting to upgrade their brand, I think they have serious work in front of them. Â It wasn't terrible, but average just isn't good enough when HopJacks, the Log Cabin, the South Bay Pub, O'Blarneys, Buzz's etc. all offer both better food and better value for bar/pub food. Â We agreed we wouldn't be returning---- I love taking a night off from cooking but I need more than just mediocre food. Â I can do that at home---- and frequently do!
Review Source:Drove by several times wanting to try, as the "Serving Breakfast" sign caught my eye. Wasn't expecting much... Bar food, right? I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED!! Stopped in today for a late Breakfast and it was FANTASTIC! The Homemade Biscuits were to DIE FOR!! Ordered the Spinach and Bacon Skillet and it was Wonderful! Service was a little slow for not being very busy, but our server Annie was the Sweetest, which made up for any wait. The atmosphere and decor makes this place very relaxing and enjoyable. LOVE the Western Decor- not too overdone, very classy. Surprised to find out Families are welcomed in the Dining Portion of the place- they even have a Kids Menu! Looking forward to coming back for the Prime-Rib Dinner Annie told us about, Not to mention for a Good Beer and some Pool! Definitely will be back as this just might end up being my new hang-out!
Review Source:I happened by for breakfast while waiting to get my oil changed. Â The food was excellent, eggs were cooked perfectly, hashbrowns were crispy, home made biscuits were yummy. Â Portion are a nice size and the price is reasonable. Â The service was great. Â I will definitely try it again for lunch one of these days. Â I hope they do well
Review Source:We happened in here by chance yesterday, knew it was going to be open soon and this was their first day of business. Â We only visited the bar area, as we had already eaten before coming here. Â Had a chance to look at the menu, it looks and sounds good, will come back and try it based on what we saw today. Â The bar area has been updated and freshened up, has a western theme though not over the top. Â There is one tv (that we could see, didn't check out the upper area), at the far end of the bar. Â Enjoyed the taller seats that face towards Pacific Avenue. People were coming in and out checking it out and as we left the bar was getting quite full. Â We had friendly and attentive service and appreciated the added touch of bringing us ice water without having to ask. Â Their drink prices were reasonably priced and they have a full bar. Â The only negative was the "drunk," guy sitting in the first table as you enter. Â Hopefully he won't become the self-appointed "mascot." He was obnoxious and insisted on playing up the place and had limited vocabulary in which the "F" word was freely coming out of his mouth. Â He thought he needed to check on us to see how we liked it (pretty sure he didn't work there), and appeared at our table, go away you smell like a brewery and smell. Â We will be back to try the food, we wish them well.
