My friend and I stayed at a local hotel for a conference. Â as such, there was not making restaurant nearby that was within a reasonable walking distance. Â we found the flyers for this restaurant at the hotel lobby and decided to try it out.
It's located next to Wendy's in a strip mall. Â Upon entering the restaurant, it seems very simple. Â Very few decorations to make it seems like a Middle Eastern restaurant. Â
We started out with the Ba ba ganoush (sp?). Â It was creamy and sweet, but not much of eggplant flavor. Â Not quite the same as the ones I had before. Â Main course was chicken thigh kebab...excellent. Â meat was juicy and cooked just right. Â would have liked a little more seasoning to the chicken though.
A good find locally if you're ever stuck in one of the hotels nearby.
This restaurant was awesome. Â The food was excellent and fresh. Â The service was timely and polite. Â I ate dinner there one evening, it was so good I went back the next day for breakfast. Â
The ONLY issue I had with Sinbad's is that they do kinda nickle and dime you a bit. Â I ordered water with dinner and got bottled water automatically, and paid for it. Â Perhaps that's the norm in New Jersey though.
