I went here twice. Â I drank a total of one beer!
Both visits were around opening time on Saturday.
Visit #1:  Country music blaring out of the TV behind the bar.  I'd rather listen to an AM radio with the windows down during a tornado.  The only thing more annoying was the bartender who was on a personal phone call, trying to talk over the over-modulated music coming out of the TV, and she was dropping the f-bomb like it was her primary  language.  I eventually got a pint of cold beer for $2 or $2.50.  Nothing special.  The music drove me right out the door.
Visit #2: Â Ghetto ass rap on the jukebox, loud as hell, and the bartender was running a vacuum. Â I ordered the same beer I got a few weeks before. Â This time I got a 10oz mug and she asked me for $3. Â I laughed as loud as I could to make sure she could hear me over Pimp Daddy Z or whatever punk ass thug was flapping his gums on the jukebox. Â I kept my money in my pocket, left the "full" 10oz beer on the bar, walked out the door, and made a bee line for Nieman Road to get the hell out of there.
Coincidentally, I drove by today on my way to Shawnee to pay a bill. Â What a shock it was for me to discover that Skeeter's was out of business. Â Aw shucks!
