i ordered the "build your own chicken sandwich". Â They didn't have wheat buns as advertised so they put it on wheat bread. Â The sandwich came and the bread was just poorly grilled on the outside. Â Just melted butter. Â I was told that it was because of the chicken which was just bs unless they soak their chicken in butter. Â I sent it back and the bread came back grilled but the chicken was cold, overcooked, and just bland. Â I know better than to send food back a second time so i just tried to eat it. Â Couldn't finish. Â Won't be back.
Review Source:Went here because I read that they have the best buffalo chicken sandwich in KC. Â It was pretty good, but I wouldn't call it the best. Not a fan of the bun. Â Side salad is pretty impressive, as was the service. Â Buffalo chicken pizza was pretty good, and my boyfriend enjoyed the sandwich that he had (can't remember what it was called, but it was loaded with meat).
The parking isn't the best, but the atmosphere is good. Lots of tv, and KU fans....for people that care about basketball...
I went their on a K-State - KU basketball game night - and the place was filled with KU folks. Being a K-State fan, not the most fun atmosphere.
The service, beer selection and $5.95 pasta was really great. They had a good selection of beers and the pasta was a deal (comes with garlic toast). One can choose their sauce, 2 toppings and for an additional dollar add cheese.
I was especially impressed by the service. At most restaurants, I would never get the requested crushed red peppers along with the entree but Maloney's got it right the first time around :)
Our server was very attentive and very pleasant too.
