Harry's Bar & Tables

First time review. Travel all over the USA. Always looking for good local brew pubs. In some circles known as a beer snob. Quiet atmosphere (no kids), average draft beer selection (Boulevard Brewey), limited menu but good simple fare for a pub. Will be back.

All I've tried here this far was a drink, so this review is somewhat limited in scope. However, the atmosphere is classic - old wood bar, nice details, windows, architectural interest.
the menu looked interesting, but I did not eat there.
I did have one of their drink specials -  a nice red sangria. I'm a big sangria connoisseur and this one lacked only size.
The ladies behind the bar were friendly, pleasant and quick.
Great place to go for a drink or several.

Even though I am not to fond of Westport anywmore, Harry's Bar and Tables is THE place to have THE best service at a resaurant/bar establishment.  I have been going for years!  Best part by far is the way that you are elegantly treated like you are in an "oldtimey" place that has so much class it is wonderful!  It is not common these days to still be treated with such grace and sophistication, especially with NO dress code! Love it!

The drinks are always perfect, the outside patio is fabulous for summer even when it is packed, and the food is ranked supreme in my book!  Try the hummas plate, all of the wine, and the gumbo (yes, they have gumbo!)

And do yourself a favor and sit at the bar.  There are a couple of guys that have been there for years.  They are knowledgeable, experienced, and not too hard on the eyes! ;)

Like my friend said,  "Having a bad day? Well, at least we have Harry."
