Harpo's

Not really my scene anymore.  Was there once within the last year and had a fun time.  Waitress was nice with good service.  Last Saturday I got the vibe it was too much college bar.  Bathroom was a little run down with no towels.  Tables upstairs had stuff scratched into them everywhere.  Outside bar was out of half the beer selections and the Guinness was $6 for a half size cup.  Was packed when we got there, but thinned out within an hour.  Ok, place to go if you already had a few drinks and don't really care what place your at anymore.

One positive note.  The heating units outside were nice.

We were greeted by an extremely rude manager. It may have been the owner. He made it seem like he was going out of his way to serve us. Meanwhile we were in a near empty bar and the servers were all huddled up talking to each other.

That combined with the overwhelming smell of what I can only describe as cat urine drove us out after one drink.

The patio looks like its great during the summer though, whether or not you'd actually get service, I'm not so sure about.

This place gets four stars from me if only because its one of the best places to watch Mizzou games in KC. Their back patio is among the best in Westport, and they just completed a light, but incredibly needed, bathroom refurb.
