Buzzard Beach

Believe me, buzzard is my favorite bar by far. But I think it might sell itself short. I think if it cleaned its self up a bit, they would make a whole bunch more money. The drinks are dirt cheap, and strong! I love the staff, I love the people, and I love the patio. I just know one day, with a little more effort, it could be 100% more awesome.

This is an amazing bar.  First of all there's the beach...where else in Kansas City can you lay out in the sun with a boat drink in your hand with sand between your toes and  soak in the delicious smells of Westport in the summertime?  Secondly there are the facilities:  I've never felt more comfortable taking care of natures call in a bar than at the Buzzard Beach.....immaculate is the word that comes to mind.....

I went here once on a trip to KC, and I will never forget it.  Super cool spot, fun, interesting and great people.  Say what up to Sam Kirk for me.  You must spend time here if you want to know the best of Kansas City.
