The Union of Westport

The name "Union" sums it up...A union of music, people, and environments. I cannot believe it took me 6 years to hear about this place. This place is what I have been searching Kansas City for, a place to dance and hang out that leaves the douches behind. Plus, no cover is awesome as well.

It is a casual environment, and by far not the most aesthetically pleasing place. However, the option of three different experiences in each section makes up for it. When you walk in there is a chill place to sit and hang out. Downstairs, on most nights I have been, you have the option of two styles of music inside or on their patio. The DJs are from around the country and play a wide range of music from reggae, hip hop, house, etc.

Tons of fun! A must do in Kansas City.

Bartenders are quick, the atmosphere is great. Overall had a great time and will definitely be going back soon.
