Buddies

Always a great time at Buddies.

In my quest for dive bars I do not discriminate, so I have no problem whatsoever with going to a dive bar that also happens to be a gay bar.

This is one of the more fun places I have been to.   The bar occupies most of two of the walls, while the majority of the remaining space is pool tables with bar tables scattered in-between.    

My friend played a game of pool against a lesbian with a mullet, and was hit on by a guy while playing.   I sat at a nearby table and was largely left alone as I downed 3 beers.   Unfortunately 3 beers quickly means full bladder and I *did* get checked out blatantly and repeatedly while using the restroom.    Jeez.

Despite being admired for my assets, overall it was a friendly and relaxing environment.   Entirely not at all what I went in there expecting.
