I am totally biased because I won tickets to see and meet one of my favorite bands (The Darkness!) here but this place is seriously lovely. Â I love the marquee out front and there's plenty to look at inside too. Â The stadium style seating looked nice if you were wanting to sit but let's be real, I was at the front as close as I could get since not only am I short, but I had to get pics! Â There's a decent sized area for standing room only and I felt like their security did a good job of tossing people that were getting out of control. Â I was impressed by that.
The place was also very clean. Â The restrooms were nice and didn't seem icky like some venues can be. Â I also appreciated that there was a parking lot next door since it was cold and snowy out. Â I don't know that I'll be attending many concerts there since it's a bit of a hike but it's definitely a venue I'll keep in mind if someone I'm dying to see has a concert there.
We've been here for a couple concerts, and I am loving it. Â The architecture inside is so cool! Â The seats are stadiumed (is that a word?) enough that the people in front of you aren't really in the way. Â I just wish they'd allow reentry with my ticket stib so I could buy my souvenir t-shirt then run it out to my car instead of having to haul it around all night. Â The bartender was friendly and handled my "ummm, I don't know what I want. Â Make me something" request perfectly.
Review Source:I've been here for a few concerts - no special events. Â So as a concert venue, I really like it. Â They get some fun, quirky shows and up & coming talent that doesn't always make it into the bigger venues. Â For the more louder bands, they clear the front 2/3rds in front of the stage and the more sedate bands keep it all full seating. Â The chairs aren't the most comfortable but for the short time you're there, it's not really an issue.
The architecture is so cool inside - really unique and beautiful to behold. Â I always enjoy just looking around while taking in the music.
