Sky team lounge at LAX is a pretty nice spot to kick it before your flight or during a layover.
If your flying on one of the Skyteam partner airlines Aeroflot, Aeromexico, Air Europa, Air France, Alitalia, China Airlines, China Eastern, China Southern, Delta Air Lines, KLM, Korean Air, Â Vietnam Airlines, & many others then you need to get yourself in here where its a lot nicer than the gate seating and it comes with perks.
While the ST lounge is not as big as others I've been to and lacks any windows it is still rather comfy and relaxing with lots of comfy seats to relax in before you board your flight. <a href="http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/skyteam-lounge-los-angeles?select=wfQjv1X3ABh30-ryVPiyWw#FGTJcNpoSZGK6WQWMTNRog">http://www.yelp.com/biz_…</a>
A strong Wi-Fi to catch up on your Yelp reviews. Â Very clean and well kept bathrooms. And showers too if you are stuck for a long layover and need to refresh.

Assorted chips, pretzels and munchies to fill your snack needs.
There is a juice machine and plenty of hot coffee and tea too.
Got the pre flight jitters? Want a stiffy or two to help knock you out before a long flight? They have an open mini-bar <a href="http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/skyteam-lounge-los-angeles?select=wfQjv1X3ABh30-ryVPiyWw#DlSDQ1BSn1ntM7p2QzdALQ">http://www.yelp.com/biz_…</a> with juices mixers and ice to help yourself get your fade on.
If you go to the Shanghai ST lounge get these!  <a href="http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/skyteam-lounge-los-angeles?select=wfQjv1X3ABh30-ryVPiyWw#avUCg52QKR1bPek07syIqA">http://www.yelp.com/biz_…</a>  They don't look like much but they're amazing!
I'll be back!
Better than the United Club lounges in the US.
They offer fresh fruits and sandwiches on top of the typical dry snacks. Decent quality too.
You can get your own booze at the bar. I like that because you can drink a lot in a short period of time without see their "it's you again" faces.
As I write this review, I am enjoying several of this lounge's amenities. I am honesty surprised at the low and average ratings this place has received. Let me begin by saying that I am spending just over two hours here while waiting to board my international flight.
I only started using lounges recently as a perk of a new credit card, and this lounge is one of the best yet. While most (domestic) lounges offer pretzels and a free soda or beer, this one has 5 different types of finger sandwiches, cereal, fruit selection, muffins, chips and salsa, and coffee/tea machines. In addition there's a fully stocked fridge with sodas and import beers, and a self service open bar complete with juices and ice for anyone to make their ritual preflight drink/concoction (or two).
The only reason I've subtracted a star is for the terribly slow wifi and because there are no windows at all. Also compared to other lounges, this one is quite small. Overall, I would recommend this lounge to anyone who is about to fly on a long flight as a way to spend some extra time away from the crowded and noisy gates before the flight.
