First and foremost, we go to this Subway about once or twice a week since we live a block away. I usually don't expect much such as service or a sandwich that is above and beyond. But i do have expectations, quick accurate service. Today my expectations were not met, I think we had to remind the "sandwich artist" a few times what we ordered while he was making our sandwiches. It was kinda entertaining watching him put the cheese on cause he looked like he had no idea what he was doing.( And yes, I did call him out for not putting the usual 4 slices instead of the three he stopped at, oh and parm is not a spice)
The lady that was also working rang us up. My "usual" was priced at the usual $5.50 and my boyfriend ordered the November $5 footlong, for which she charged us $5.50. I am a person that easily gets stuck on the principle of the matter. She charged us the wrong amount, the error should be fixed. After i pointed out the error, she first said it was taxes added. Then I showed her the separate line for the tax. She said she was doing what her manager told her to do. So apparently the Manager at this location is OK with his employees charging customers, even regular customers the WRONG, higher price.
I dropped it since it was apparent she didn't care about the error. Looks like we'll be looking for new places to get a cheap sub-par dinner unless this error is corrected. Guess the manager needs some strong principles, too (customer service principles)
