Chicken Run

Ordered delivery last night. Really solid.  The food literally came in 20 minutes. Had the chicken been made to order, I would have given 5 stars. Even with it being a little on the dry side, it was still excellent.  The rice was just okay, probably wouldn't order again. The beans, excellent.  The carne asado taco surprised me, it was very good.  I'll try to order the al pastor taco next time. The prices here are very reasonable, you can order for 1 and not have to spend 30 bucks. No sour cream?

their chicken pita is the best- the owner grills chicken breast and onions while you wait, wraps it in pita with tomato and mayo. it's simple, delicious, satisfying..
if you ask nicely , he might bring your order across the street to Cole's... buy him a beer :)

They are the best.  The rub they put on this chicken is awesome.  I'm referring to the whole and half chicken.  They use the same chicken for the tacos and soup (awesome chicken soup by the way- they serve it with cilantro, limes, and onion on the side) and such, but I can't get away from the bird alone.  So good.  Also, the guacamole is real good.  Some places make guac that is either limey, or missing something, or turning brown.  Chicken Run's is always fresh and a nice healthy green.  And generous in size.  Sides- I admit the beans are not great- they are the runny whole bean style.  But the plantains are more than enough to make up for it.  They are sweet and have that nice sugary crust to them.  The slaw is nice too.
Also, the location is great- it's right next to Revolution Brewpub, so if you get take out you can a real beer next door.  
If you are looking for a good roasted chicken- try this place.  And they deliver!  I've had the owner run it out a few times. Super nice guy and you can tell they care here.  They are not just slapping chicken in a bag.  Awesome, awesome place.
