I went to Township on a weekday at 10am with my computer, doing what I usually do when I work from home, which is get out of the house. It turned out to be an excellent decision, though I'm not sure if that had as much to do with Township being a good place to get work done, as it did with the fact that I started drinking at noon. Anyway, like I said, excellent decisions were made.
My day-drinking choice was at least a semi-respectable one: the FANTASTIC Unicorn's Blood, which tasted, as one would expect, like espresso and mythical creatures. I had the Saag Paneer Scramble too, which did NOT taste like Saag Paneer. But it did taste like "yum", so I happily stuffed my face.
The service was a bit lacking. Electrical outlets were too, though this is pardonable since Township is a bar, not a cafe. After being told by one employee that I could sit at a four-top near one of the two outlets, I unpacked my bag--only to be told by another employee that he'd rather I not take up that whole table, despite the place being nearly empty. Shuffling of my stuff occurred, followed by furious typing, eating, and drinking, and then four hours later, the latter employee finally warmed up to me and was much more pleasant. I can only assume this was due to unicorn magic.
