Superchef's is inside a restaurant that sells 'Chicago' styled food, such as Gyro's (according to the sign). It is very easy to miss the restaurant because there is only a small cloth-like sign tied underneath a Gyro sign and a larger than life Mexican restaurant sign. The interior was small yet quaint & clean. Â The menu items are very inventive and delightful. Â The price left something to be desired, though not because of the taste of the food. The ambiance didn't really fit their gourmet-styled menu
Review Source:Decent food. Very creative. Â My only beef was they ran out of bacon two hours before close on a Sunday. I should have ordered something else but the way they told me was "it's going to be a few minutes they had to go and get some more bacon". Well the rest of the food came slowly w/o bacon. We were totally done with the meal when undercooked soggy syrupy bacon showed up. Not sure how "candied" bacon is supposed to look/taste but this was awful. I don't like overcooked bacon at all but I couldn't even eat this. The people at our table who like it crispy didn't even try it. Â I had a hard time getting a drink refill also. I really wanted to like this place but I can't recommend it right now. I admire locally owned creative places so I'll probably give it another chance.
