Szechuan Star

The food here is was more authentic than Hong Kong Express down the road. There might just be a dollar price difference but HUGE taste difference. Just ordered combo lo mein at HKE last week and it was mehhh. Ordered it at szechuan star, the owner is so hilarious and very generous. Her food tastes much better and she actually appreciates all her customers. Cant say much about dine in or deliver since i opted to carry out!

This is my favorite Chinese take-out and dining in, I've been coming here since I was a kid.The very sweet Ms.Kim used to work at the counter always with warm welcome us.This is one of those neighborhood must  try place. It does a thriving business having been written up by the Award winning restaurant magazine as TOP 100 restaurant.

My favorite things here are the crab rangoon (best I've ever had, the real crab meats  melts into the cream cheese to be this hot) and the jumbo shrimp with lobster sauce (also the best version that I've ever had). The shrimp are large, they don't cut corners. They don't have to, they are an established business. Kung Pao chicken always the best and must have dish.

There are good options for lunch specials,there are twenty something choices. The place offers good value for money. You will be full when done. It has a nice balance of authentic, experimental and Americanized "comfort food " Chinese.

I have nothing but praise for the food here.  We have YET to order anything that wasn't absolutely delicious! The delivery is fast.  We have not yet dined inside but this is definitely our first choice when it comes to Chinese in the area.
The only down fall is they don't take AMEX which is sometimes my preferred method of payment if I don't have cash.
