I like it, I'm a fan. Friendly bartender pointed me to the [beer] specials of the day. Place was a bit warm, but not unbearable. The beers were also warm (not ice cold), at least all the ones I tried, and I tried at least 7 different ones. I'll definitely be back, hopefully beers will be colder.
Review Source:A great place for lunch or dinner, with several amazing beer options, a good food selection, and fun atmosphere. It can get noisy, but all-in-all, not bad. It can be a challenge to seat a large group here, so don't go with more than 6 or 7 of your BFFs.
Vegan and vegetarian options available.
I've been actively on the prowl looking for a good place that serves or offers a good selection of craft/microbrews in Hampton Roads and the general feel is that the local area isn't quite up to speed on the craft-beer boom. So far this place has been pretty good.
So upon walking in I decided to Live Dangerously, by ordering their strongest and most expensive 12oz. bottle right off the bat. "Dogfish Head World Wide Stout" at 18%ABV and $16 a pop. AMAZING beer, good thing I had just one as any more would've put me over the top.LoL. They do have a fairly nice selection of both draft and bottles, which is a good thing coming from a Hop-head!
**Overall I will defiantly be coming back. The only bad things are they need dress up the place; remove the arcade games (its not the 80's)and bathrooms could look nicer. I don't exactly like nats/flies buzzing all over when I'm crapping if you know what I mean. Also beware of the location as Ghent is a rough part of town. Cheers!
