Tavern On Grand

Having had a very disappointing walleye experience at a different place we came here for the good stuff. We had the sampler and it lived up to all of our expectations. The fish perfectly cooked seasoned well and a crazy good walleye cake. Having left a place on the other end of Grand Ave. we were very pleased. The bar tender was efficient, but not friendly. That is the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. Highly recommend the wonderful walleye here.

Although I've been dining here for years, this is only my third visit since becoming a Yelper. To be brief and to the point, I hate fish, I never eat it. When I'm at the Tavern, I only eat the Walleye. Love it! Go figure. There's no such thing as a "fishy taste" or "fishy smell" and the light breading on the fish is incredible! If you are like me and never eat fish, check out the Tavern on Grand and enjoy some fresh walleye.
