    I like Friday's.. truly I do!
Yes.. I realize they are a "chain" but honestly I think they are
one of the better/more solid chains out there.

Friday's has a pretty extensive menu.. not as extensive as the
Cheesecake Factory's because Lord Knows that one's as
big as a book but Friday's is large enough with many different
    options to choose from.

But for me the only options I want are the ones listed under
their Jack Daniel's part of the menu because all of these menu
items are always consistent and delicious.
The Jack Daniel's sauce is pretty incredible.. just so good!

And.. for dessert Friday's has this vanilla bean cheesecake
which was pretty phenominal.. even on the scale of comparing to my
favorite banana cream cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory.

Granted once my friend Linda and I had 1 glass of wine for her and
a Miller Lite for me, A very great pretzel stick appetizer, 2 entree's
and.. 1 piece of cheesecake that we shared our bill was $56.00
    before tip..
Still.. I think these are fair menu prices.

So.. I like Friday's, they are comfortable and casual, they have
a nice staff of people working there and they have Jack Daniel's
    and Cheesecake.
What more could I ask for?

The service here is always great.  The hosts and hostesses open the door to greet you and say goodbye.  The manager always stops by at least once to check and make sure your meal is ok.  He stopped twice last night.

The potato skins are irregular at this location for some reason, including last night.  I wish they would perfect them here because I love their potato skins.  The korean steak tacos and Jack Daniels Whiskey Cake made up for it though.  Both were absolutely amazing so I hope they are never taken off the menu.

Their beverages are always good too.  In honor of Mardi Gras, our server suggested an Asita Beer called Purple Haze.  Delicious and hope to try it again very soon.  Their Blackberry Long Island is yummy too.

Eh so so. I will say I had the blue cheese burger and it wasn't to bad. Although this place on a Friday night is loud and being seated by the kitchen is double the noise. Its TGI Friday's nothing special The prices are just to high for the quality of food you get. I notice most places are cutting back in quality because of the economy so really who is to blame. Our server was great she was quick and very friendly. all in all its ok I don't come here that often, i believe i was here maybe twice in 2012 and once this year because we got some gift cards for Christmas. If i had to spend my own money I would go elsewhere.

Maybe we got lucky because our family dining experience on a friday night @ 8pm was great! We were at the TGI location downtown 6 months ago and it was awful. We got a gift certificate for TGI plus i'm a stripes member and got an email discount of 20% off our meal - so we decided to go. We got seated right away and our server was a kind young man. Kids ordered chicken nuggets and a cheeseburger and I had the dragonfire salmon. Kids enjoyed their meal. My salmon was a a very generous portion! i was so surprised! Foo foo places give you a 1/4 of the size. I was hesitant of the spiciness so server suggested putting the Kun Pao sauce on the size - what a genius! It had mandarin oranges, pico de gallo and this awesome slaw! Someone complained about the large broccoli stalk in a previous review, but i thought it was delish! Not too soft where it would fall apart when pierced with a fork. Hard enough to slice it into smaller pieces. I asked for a cup of melted butter and i was in heaven. We are definitely coming back.

Meh!  They totally change the menu on me, boooo!!! I actually went cause i saw the add on the tv that they added jack daniels entrees to their 2 for 10 menu so i went. There was not jack daniels on the menu they just put a sticker on top of the menu with 4 options of food. First of all i hate false advertisment second the food was way overcooked no bueno :(. I wont be going to this TGIF maybe i give other locations a try.

tgif you have been our fav spot for quite a few years now but ever since you guys changed your entire staff and management i've noticed that things have changed as well. the consistency in the food is not there.  i ordered a medium rare burger and it came out well done. i'm a sous chef in a high volume restaurant and consistency is what i preach about every day. i'd think again for going here for a burger specially when there are more options now just a few minutes away from this location

The absolute worse service ever. Food cold, waitress cold.

Yuck! Talk about gross, by this I mean the sliminess of this location. It was one of the dirtiest restaurants I have ever had the misfortune of coming across! The food was descent the first time I went and since has rolled steadily down hill to this point where I have decided never to visit this place again! The waitress we had was very sweet but the hostess was a moron because in the whole empty place first she sat us next to the door which was freezing and we had our newborn baby with us so when I asked to sit somewhere else she put us next to the bathroom so trust me I would have rather been cold at that point! I wondered why until I looked around and saw that almost all the tables were dirty and covered with dishes the entire time we were there! The food was eh. The bill was high!

The food was decent! Nothing spectacular by any means. I'm not usually into chains but wanted a nice place to grab some semi-healthy food that was near my hotel. They ended up messing up my order twice but the bartender quickly fixed the kitchens mistake. Over all it was ok.

Great service!  My glass of ice tea was never lower than half full.    Had Ribeye and lobster.  Ribyeye was a bit "fatty" but good flavor.  Everything nice and clean; even the restroom!

Scanning reviews it seems most are reporting on the overall service.

TGI is a local option for me to grab something or join a work lunch with the office.  Thinking back about an experience where we sat and dined in, we were seated next to the kitchen and yet still there were times we were looking for the waiter.  I'm not sure where he went but when he returned he always looked hurried.  I think they (waitstaff) follow a step by step for dealing with seated customers.  While we had the look of "We have to go now!" across our faces, he still asked if we wanted to order coffee or desserts.  The move was so strange, which makes me think they have to ask.

Other than that, food is almost always good and never a problem.   It's as good as chain food can be.  I am a bit particular to the Jack Daniel's line of sandwiches and entrees.  MMmm, sweet sauce for dipping, you just can't go wrong.  This is a newer location with its own lot but shared with a tall office building next door.  Weekday lunches can be very busy, so plan accordingly or call ahead.

I ate here about a year ago, the food sucked everything way too salty. I told myself never again. Well fast forward to present day, to my horror  I received a gc to this place for christmas! Unlike alot of other chain restaurants you can only use a TGIF gc at TGIF. So here we are on a cold sat night not having a real plan for dinner. I say to the hubby lets go to TGIF, neither one of us was overly thrilled with this idea, but he had no plan. We did get seated right away but thats where our luck ran out. The waiter was definitely not seasoned. Not rude just slow. Too much waiting for drink and app order. I am convinced it would not matter what we ordered, again with the overdose of salt. The chicken finger app was kind of hard and too salty. I ordered some sort of Jack Daniels glazed salmon. It was just ok. The food was lukewarm at best. My hubby ordered a cajun pasta dish, he liked his. Good for him. Then when we went to pay we gave the waiter the gc with our credit card so of course he didn't apply the gc to the total. We had to flag him down to fix it. If I didn't have that damn gc I would never have come back here. So the moral of the story is if you like very salty food and mediocre service come here, if not save your money eat somewhere else.

Maintaining the 2-star status after our last visit.

Our service was better this time around. Wait time for a server (and water) after being seated was cut in half, and the food made it to our table a bit quicker. Too bad the food itself fell short of its more respectable service time. Very inconsistent. One of our orders was wrong (out of five), and a majority of MY food was borderline cold. The only thing keeping my dish warm (obviously the white rice and steamed broccoli had been plated well in advance) was the grilled chicken atop the "Dragonfire" medley.  No joke, the temperatures on the plate varied from cold to warm, and when ordering something "steamed" and/or "cooked" you expect it served at a hot "cooked" temperature. RIGHT? To receive it colder than the dish itself is unappetizing and disappointing. Not to mention again the lack of anything resembling seasoning. I really think the cooks here are scared, or maybe advised by management to stay inside some bland, tasteless recipe box. That, or these cooks taste buds have disappeared.

Whatever. I went in with low expectations, and came out again, with low expectations.

Ordered the steak and shrimp.  The steak was a bit on the tough and chewey side, but not inedible or worth sending back.  They really should have tartar sauce for the shrimp.  Not everybody likes cocktail sauce...so found that to be really annoying that they do not have all the basic condiments that a restaurant should have.

The manager actually came to explain it to me because I guess my server could see I was dissappointed with the fact they did not have tartar sauce.  According to the manager they had simliar problem when they got rid of fish and chips from the menu and they got rid of malt vinegar.  Just weird.

Brocolli as a side dish was interesting.  They brocolli stalks were massive and undercooked.  On the whole, it was it bit like somebody just cut a tree down in the forest and dropped it on my plate.  Not really good.

In fact, the more I think about this meal, it was just kind of blah all the way around.  I will probably rethink it before visitng a TGIF again.

The bartenders are nice, the food is good but it gets boring after a while. I would definitely recommend it as a casual hang out with friends but only if you sit at the bar because the waiters there don't necessarily need to have experience to find employment (nor do they understand guest satisfaction).

We went there on 2 occasions. First time the staff was very friendly and got our order right. However once it arrived we noticed that it was cold! My salmon was very good but it was not warm so I had to send it back and I barely ever send back food. My friend's burger was hot but the fries were cold and tasted like they were microwaved. On the second occasion it was not really packed but the waiter was very slow. It took him at least 10 minutes to bring our drinks to the table and he brought me a sprite instead of diet coke like I asked but I didn't say anything. The food was once again warm but not hot like it's supposed to. We won't be going back there again.

So happy to find out I am now living next to a TGIF ...

Food was great we had 2 servers one was a young guy and he was so speedy and fast it came across a bit rude and there was a girl who brought our food. It was the first time anyone ever asked my husband to cut his steak to see if it was just how he liked it. It usually is not WD enough so this impressed us. The rest of our food tasted great and we enjoyed the atmosphere.

We will be going back here often.

    Update************

The reviews about bad service here are true. I was so upset my last time here I wanted to call there corprate office. We showed up 10 minutes before the restaurant side stops taking orders. I asked what time they stop taking orders and she told me in 10 minutes but that they still would not seat us, we would need to sit at the bar and order from the bar menu.
    The bar was packed .

Several other occasions the servers have been on the rude side.

As exited as I was with my previous review I will not be returning to this TGIF.

Good lunch spot although service can be a little slow; decent food ptions but most food tends to be on the greasy side. Why does everything have to have bacon on it???

We went here after picking up the wife and son from the airport. Charlotte is a Great waitress; funny, sarchastic, and on time with everything. Good food option for 12.99 (3 course meal).

When they just opened, service was phenomenal!  Now, it has gone down the drain.

We came for lunch at 11:30am hoping to beat the lunch crowd.  Got seated right away, waiter gave us the menu right away, and we ordered.  Then, we waited....and waited....and waited for our food.  We were hoping to be in & out of there in 1 hour.  It turned into 1 hr & 30 minutes.

    Never again.

We went back and they managed to not screw up anything, although they didn't exactly impress us, either. I'll give them one more star for now, since they apparently have mastered the fine art of giving people the menu item they actually ordered. I don't know if the management climbed up some mountain in Tibet and spoke to a wise man to do this, or if they just pulled their heads out of their butts for ten minutes. Either way, things are improving...a little.

3 ppl late lunch 3:00pm Friday afternoon.

Waited 5 minutes to be greeted at the door, employees standing around talking, nice!

Server was disinterested and disappeared frequently, we had to ask a passerby to take our order.

Hostess stopped by often to make sure we were ok!

Food quality has gone down significantly over the years, they used to make there own Chicken Fingers and hand roll them, well those days are over, look, feel and taste frozen store bought.

Potato Skins used to have tons of flavor, seems lacking and less ingredients, the sour cream ramekin has been reduced so you need to order additional sour cream.

French fries we excellent could not stop eating them.

TGIF used to be the industry leader, what happened?

For the most part the service is great.  There is one waitress that is totally awesome named Frannie.  If she's working ask to be seated in her section.  She won't treat you wrong.

The food has always been good.  When the kitchen has screwed up our order, they always fix it with no questions.

Trivia night is a blast on Wednesdays.

Only bad experience was one night I had a REALLY bad day at work and wanted to let go and get drunk.  My husband was the DD, so I ordered a pitcher of margaritas.  I drank the whole pitcher myself and wasn't even buzzed.  :(  I don't think they put an ounce of tequila in there.  The service that night was also horrible.  Didn't go back for several months.

I went here two or three times when it first opened but was not impressed.  The main dishes were surprisingly greasy, the fries were soggy, etc.  I may give it another shot to see if they've improved any.

I've been to this location twice over the last few months. The first time was right before the Britney concert (yeah, yeah -quit giving me flack!) Every other place in town was packed -but not here. It was busy -a "healthy" kind of crowded -but no wait. We were able to get a good meal and a few drinks to properly lube up for the upcoming Circus (like-like-like a circus! oops, sorry...I did it again! Ha!) Anyway, I went here recently for lunch too and the food was really good. It's a nice lunchtime or hang-out-after-work place if you are looking for affordable food and drink. I like this location -never too crazy crowded and the servers are very friendly!
