A perfect Irish pub.  You walk in and feel the warmth of wood and the crackle of conversation.   You may have had good Guinness at a few places, but you have never had it like you do here.  The bartenders pour it slowly, with patience, until it has reached its perfect level.  And it is worth every second and every penny (though the amount of pennies you pay is very reasonable).

Like music?  Come here at nights or on the weekends.  You'll see traditional music and rock, a wonderful blend of old and new.  Learn words to some Irish rebel songs, though, so that you can join the crowd in singing along.

Oh yeah- that's the kicker: prepare to lose yourself among the accents, the brogues, thick as Guinness.  You'll hear dirty jokes and great stories, and hear the regulars bandy back and forth.

As the name implies, the owners are from three different counties in Ireland.  If you aren't familiar, counties in Ireland are the standards for identities and for rivalries.  So while watching soccer or hurling or Gaelic football, all of which draw a lively and enjoyable crowd, the place will be torn depending on whose county is playing whom- or who just feels like irritating the boys from Mayo.

This isn't a bar where you'll have to shout over the Top 40s while pounding Coors Light (though they do have a full arrangement of domestic and imported, and indeed the Irish there drink mostly domestic).  It is a place for conversation, for laughs, for friendly service where they treat you as family.  It is impossible for me to say enough good things about the Counties.  Go there, and raise one to the Auld Sod.

This was a pretty small Irish bar in a neighborhood with some competition. It has a small stage and great irish beer imports. There was heavy Irish accents and that is what you want going to an Irish bar. A pretty authentic Irish bar. Now if it were only located in an actual Irish neighborhood

A great Irish bar, mostly full of of-the-boat Irish stopping in after work or out on a weekend night.  Weekends usually has some pretty good music on their stage, and the people behind the bar are some of the nicest in the city.  Not too huge, and a little dark, but this place certainly does have a bit of charm.

Great Irish pub. Now that the smoking ban is in place, even better. If there are 20 people at the bar, 18 of them have Irish accents. Eileen is a great bartender and always takes care of us. Gets pretty crowded on the weekends.
