Time

This place is fantastic. The outside doesn't do the inside justice. Inside there is a bar area and then a main dining area where they have live music. The atmosphere is cool and chic without being overbearing or snot-nosed if that makes any sense.

They also have a fantastic selection of Scotchs and Bourbons. Angel's Envy for me....yum. As for food the fried chicken sandwich with jalapeño slaw (i think), was amazing. It reminded me of the Honor Bar's (Beverly Hills, CA) chicken sandwich. The chicken was a generous portion and fried perfectly, the tender and sweet flavor mixed really well with the spicy slaw that accompanied it. I really don't remember much about the dinner except my Bourbon and my sammy, but I know I will be back for more, much more.

Popped in last night on the final leg of a bar crawl.  We sat at the bar and I was lucky enough to try the rum cocktail.  They have a cocktail for each spirit ... Rum, gin, bourbon, vodka...you get the idea.  Finally my hunger got the best of me and I ordered the Shrimp & Grits appetizer.  I've been seeing it pop up on menus lately, but it was the first time I've tried it.  I asked the bartender how hot it was, and he described it well as more of a creole spice.  It was really flavorful, beautifully presented and each element of the dish was cooked to perfection!  Plus it was a very generous portion for an app, and actually served as my dinner.  The bartender was great, friendly and skilled.  When we thanked him he even invoked the name of the place by saying a sincere "Any Time".  I'll be back, some Time soon :)
