Toulouse Café and Bar

I love the feel of the patio at 930 at night.  Kind of the romantic vibe that you've been missing.  Onion soup great, escargot great, boullabaise could use some work, souffle awesome.  I will report again and again as we try through the menu

Good food. Service sub par.

I went to this place for a brunch date.  We ordered the short rib hash, crab florentine, and cappuccino brothers.  The food was ok.  The short rib hash tasted like wild game with little flavor.  The crab florentine was good but the meat was cooked too soft and under the dripping egg became a wet soggy meal.  The cappuccino dip for the beignets has no taste resemblance of cappuccino at all.  It tastes like strong bitter orange zest just as the beignets I themselves.  Would I recommend?  Yes for the taste experience and environment.
