I'm going to call this place the "Oasis of Camden," but that's not saying much. A friend and I stopped by to grab a quick bite before the Cirque du Soleil show, and to our surprise, this place was packed! From our walk from the PATCO station until then, we saw no liveliness. We thought, "Thank god there are alive people here, let's hop in and hope we stay safe."

    SERVICE:
We found a small table by the bar after being told to sit at the bar because there are no tables. From there was a downhill trend for service. We waited about 5 minutes to get the menu, then another 5 minutes waiting for the drink menu. Our appetizers (the only we got) took about 20 minutes to get to us, and when they arrived, where on earth were the utensils and napkins? I ate with my fingers and left with no option but to use my hand sanitizer to clean off the oil off my finger from the calamari. My friend who ordered a salad had no option but to wait yet another couple minutes for her fork to arrive. Finally, to end the night, we received the check from the table next to us... Oh I almost forgot, I was turned down when I asked for two plastic bags. It was pouring outside, and I really didn't want my leather boots to get stained. That sucked...

    FOOD:
Mediocre at most. The calamari was okay. My friend's salad looked disappointing for being more than $10. Honestly, we were not here for the food. We wanted to find a place to stay safe in Camden.

    AMBIANCE:
It was surprisingly crowded, and that is always a good thing for a bar. Otherwise you're going to be afraid of being robbed or food poisoned. I'm guessing most people were here for the show as the restaurant emptied at about 8pm.

    RECOMMENDATION:
I would honestly recommend this place because there is no other option; hence the 3-star, and not 2-star, rating. There is a sketchy food mart on the other side of the apartment building, but seeing there were three police cars parked there, I wouldn't recommend it. Come here for a drink and appetizer, but come here with plenty of time to spare, otherwise your show might just begin before you even get the fork to eat your food.

If it was safer to walk anywhere else you wouldn't find me here. Although the drinks here are always cold the service is unbelievably slow. I would come here again only because of the great location to the entertainment venues not because of anything exceptional at the restaurant.

I live about 40 min from here on a normal day, but due to it's primo location to the Susquehanna, Amy A. and I have been here several times! I love that you can come to this bar, park in their lot, and then just walk to the concert venue without having to pay for any parking! The bar and the restaurant is pretty huge. Service has always been fairly good. Bartenders have always been attentive, even on our last visit when the place went from slow to crazy busy for no apparent busy.

I can't speak too much about the food, only ordering an appetizer here or there when my face started to get a little too numb from the beerskis. My favorite has been the garlic hot wings. SO good. Super, intensely garlicky, and I vaguely remember the wings were a good size.

Will continue to keep coming back when in the area!
